In SOS Children's Villages, parentless and abandoned children find a home where they experience the security and warmth of a family, where they are respected and encouraged—until they can stand on their own feet.
In addition, SOS Children's Villages have a larger impact: our kindergartens, schools, training centers, clinics, and social centers are also open to people from the surrounding areas. The family strengthening program at SOS Children's Villages supports families in need so that they can provide well for their children.
Many of these projects are supported each year by independent foundations, as well as the ChildInvest Foundation and its trust foundations.
